Fruit Mostarda

Don’t be fooled by the pretty colors and sweet-looking appearance, Mostarda has quite a flavor personality underneath that sugary-sweet exterior. This fiery Italian delicacy is made out of slices of fruit candied and preserved in a mustard syrup. It is quite spicy! A great accompaniment to cheese.
Ingredients: Candied fruit (60%) in variable proportion (orange, apricots, cherries, clementine, figs, red pear, sugar, glucose-fructose syrup, acidifier: citric acid, colorings: Erithrosine, Carmine) sugar, water, glucose syrup, mustard flavor, flavorings, anotioxidant: sulphur dioxide.
